The Katpana Desert at Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan in Pakistan, this desert is otherwise called the Cold Desert.The desert contains scopes of huge sand hills that are now and then shrouded in snow during winter. Arranged at a height of 2,226 meters (7,303 feet) above ocean level, the Katpana Desert is probably the most elevated desert on the planet.
