Salt Range

The Salt Range is a slope framework in the Punjabprovince of Pakistan, getting its name from its broad stores of rock salt. The range stretches out along the south of the Pothohar Plateau and the North of the Jhelum River. The Salt Range contains the extraordinary mines of Khewra, Kalabagh and Warcha which yield immense supplies of salt. Coal of a mid-range quality is additionally found.
